2021/2022 Cannabis Trade Shows and Events

In this article we will talk about the 2021/2022 Cannabis and CBD Trade Shows and Events, taking a brief look at the last two fairs Harvin attended this year, and then listing the Cannabis and CBD Trade Shows and Events scheduled for 2022.

CBD EXPO – Paris

From 16 to 18 October 2021

2021/2022 Cannabis Trade Shows and Events

Among the 2021/2022 Cannabis Trade Shows and events Harvin had the pleasure of attending was undoubtedly the CBD Expo in Paris. This was the first B2B event in France that presented cannabis-derived CBD products to the public for the very first time. This was made possible by the growing tolerance in France towards this market, especially following the Kanavape case which turned the legal situation in France very similar to that of Italy at the end of 2017. Since then, the number of companies, businesses and shops selling Cannabis and CBD products has been steadily increasing on the French territory.

CBD Expo was a truly unmissable event, that organized very interesting informative conferences and constituted the first national business centre for professionals in the sector, allowing meetings and exchanges with both French and foreign companies. CBD Expo was the first B2B event in France entirely dedicated to professionals in the Cannabis industry, that presented numerous innovations and provided a meeting place for major players in the sector.  Harvin’s CBD vending machines were literally sold out on the French cannabis market, which was very interested in the possibility of a highly profitable solution for their business.

The interesting thing about CBD Expo is that it was a B2B fair, dedicated to market players and it allowed many companies – especially new ones – to expand their brand and their network of contacts in the Cannabidiol market.  Over the course of two days, CBD Expo France paved the way for the CBD market in France.

One aspect to be considered, and which we participants greatly appreciated, is the fact that the organisers of the fair were sensitive to ecological factors, committing themselves to an eco-sustainable organisational approach: actions were implemented aimed at conscious consumption and waste reduction. Recyclable materials were used to create the stands, including the CBD Expo operators’ clothes, which were made entirely of organic cotton.

Cannafest – Prague

From 5 to 7 November 2021

2021/2022 Cannabis Trade Shows and Events

Unfortunately, the 11th Cannafest fair was postponed twice due to the Covid situation: it was initially supposed to take place on the last weekend of October 2020, then it was moved to 12 -13 – 14 February 2021 and finally it took place from 5 to 7 November at the PVA Expo Prague Letnany; and so this year Harvin once again took part in the world’s largest fair, having the opportunity to meet industry players from outside Europe.

As always, the visitors were very interested in our CBD vending machines, which were a huge success again this year and we had a very high demand. The fair was also an opportunity to get to know all the latest innovations in the sector and new cultivation technologies, thanks to the presentation of new fertilisers, seeds, but also smoking accessories, vaporisers and chillums, both on display and for sale. Not to mention cosmetics, clothing made from hemp fibres and delicious cannabis-based dishes!

As we all know, conferences that focus on raising awareness about the topic of cannabis always play an important role at Cannafest, thanks to the cooperation of institutions that fight for the medical use of the plant and its legalisation. Unfortunately it was not possible to organise the professional conferences this year, but hopefully with the new regulations next year they will be able to start again.
